WHERE IS ROATAN: The Bay Islands of Honduras are nestled in the southwest corner of the Caribbean, about 30 miles north of Honduras. The outstanding coral reef system is part of the second largest barrier reef in the world which includes the islands of Roatan, Utila and Cayo Cochinos.

Linens are changed mid-week and fresh towels are placed in each stateroom as needed. Filled tanks, weights and weight belts are included.

Information regarding Jr. Divers:

Parent or Guardian will be solely responsible for Jr. Diver on board and off board and must accompany Jr. Divers on all dives.  We highly recommend diver insurance for both Parent/Guardian and Jr. Divers.

A PADI Jr. Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 40ft/12M. (IMPORTANT: This may limit joining most of the dives for the guided dive trips because they will be deeper than 40ft/12M)

A 12 to 14-year-old Jr. Open Water Diver is qualified to dive to 60ft/12M only when accompanied by a certified diver of legal age. Your certification automatically upgrades on your 15th birthday at which time you can apply to PADI for an adult certification card.

The Jr. Advanced Open Water course extends your depth qualification to 70Ft/21M for ages 12 -14.

Age 15 qualifies for adult certification card.
