Looking for a fun Caribbean live-aboard at a great value? Just south of the Bahamas, you'll find it in the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands!

West Caicos, French Cay and the northwest walls of the Caicos Islands are uninhabited and pristine. You'll enjoy great wall diving with visibility generally over 100 feet, and encounter eagle rays, sharks and other pelagics.

October usually offers excellent conditions in the Turks & Caicos Islands, with warm, clear, flat seas. The walls begin around 45' to 50', so this is a destination for intermediate divers where Nitrox is very useful. This is also a great opportunity to earn Nitrox or Advanced Open Water certification on board.

The healthy reefs and marine life of this unspoiled destination will astound you. Reserve your space today!

Package includes:

  • 7 nights aboard the Turks & Caicos Explorer II in air-conditioned double occupancy cabins with private bath
  • All meals and between meal snacks, except Friday evening dinner out on the town
  • All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • 4-5 dives a day Sunday-Thursday, conditions permitting, with two dives on Friday morning
  • Tanks, weights and weight belt
  • Complimentary scuba refresher course if you haven't dived within the last 12 months

Not Included: airfare to Providenciales (PLS), airport transfers (approximately $25 per person each way in shared taxi), equipment rental if needed, Nitrox if desired ($150 for the week), crew gratuity, dinner the last night out on the town, plus port charge of $85 and fuel surcharge (currently $40) payable on board.

Air Connections:

Please note that flights can be booked 330 days in advance, in late November 2018.

Easy air connections are available to Providenciales (PLS) on American Airlines. Please enter Business ExtrAA # 783097 and make sure your gay travel dollars are counted!

United, Delta, US Airways, Spirit, Air Canada and West Jet also fly to the Turks & Caicos Islands from North America.

Plan to arrive on the afternoon or evening of October 12. You may board the vessel anytime after 3 p.m. We suggest an early departure on October 19.

Payments:

  • $100 Deposit
  • $500 January 2019
  • $500 April 2019
  • Balance June 2019

Rainbow Divers is a 501(c)7 non-profit mutual benefit organization, and can only organize activities and trips for its members. Trips are priced to break even. Excess cash flow is rebated to divers. Membership is cheap and comes with a bunch of new lifelong friends at no extra charge. So if you’d like to participate in this trip, please join us.

Payments are generally non-refundable. If you sign up and your plans change there may or may not be someone interested in taking your spot. If you cancel without having made all payments it is your responsibility to find someone to pay your obligation in full. It is a very good idea to carry trip insurance to cover such an eventuality.

Trip payments may be made by PayPal or by personal check. PayPal will accept credit card payments, regardless of whether you have a PayPal account. The price is the same regardless of payment method.  Please consider using PayPal, as electronic payment greatly simplifies the work of our volunteers.  Please send PayPal payments to paypal@rainbowdivers.org

All divers on this trip should be comfortable diving in currents and have good buoyancy skills.  Divers are required to carry valid, in-force dive accident insurance, such as Divers' Alert Network (DAN).

Divers must agree to NCRD's Event Terms and Conditions to participate in this trip. Follows these links please:
