The Philippines comprise over 7,600 islands, surrounded by deep blue seas that contain some of the richest marine life on earth. Considered by many to be the apex of the Coral Triangle, scuba diving in the Philippines offers a wide variety of marine environments to choose from.
Whether it’s dives on steep walls and offshore pinnacles, critter hunting in coastal reefs, the sardine run, or the opportunity to get up close to the world’s largest fish – the whale shark, the Philippines will whet the appetite of even the most seasoned diver.
The Visayas and Malapascua regions are best known for their great variety of dive sites, starring thresher sharks in Malapascua, turtles all over, and the sardine run in Moalboal. Macro lovers can indulge in sightings of pygmy seahorses, ornate ghost pipefish, and spectacular frogfish of all sizes.

Alternatively arrive Cebu Jan 28 with a stop on the way to join a group van transfer to Dumaguete. For example, EVA departs SFO just after midnight Friday night/ Saturday morning and arrives Cebu Sunday at 11AM. Transfer costs depend on traveling as a group, so check with Maureen or Tommy for advice on what to book.
Post live aboard you can book your return flight home after mid-day Feb 9, from Cebu. For example, EVA flies to SFO with a change in Taipei, leaving Cebu at 12:30 PM. If your international round-trip is MNL there are abundant cheap flights Cebu to Manila.
