Grand Cayman for Women

April 26 2025

$1999 Oceanview 2BR Quad Condo Per Person

Single Supplement Available

1 BR Upgrade Available

Hosted by Maureen McEvoy

Far from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded Seven Mile Beach, Compass Point Dive Resort eases you into vacation mode from the minute you enter the sleepy village of East End. This area of Grand Cayman reflects a 'kick back and relax' attitude so much that the locals call it the ‘Caribbean side’ of the island.

The East End of Grand Cayman is perfect for divers who want to step off the beaten path and see the island as it used to be. Here you will enjoy untouched beauty and endless ocean views as you dive world-class sites with great visibility, hike the Mastic Trail, or paddle a kayak.

We've teamed up with the UnderSea Expeditions to offer this great value package to women divers, including oceanview accommodations, most meals, a rental car to explore the island, and plenty of excellent diving. There are a variety of dive sites suitable to every level of experience, and it's easy to meet a dive buddy at the welcome party where you'll get to know this friendly group of women divers!

85 degree water, 100 foot visibility, turtles, rays, sharks and tiny macro creatures are waiting for you. So let’s go!

Package Includes:

  • 7 nights at Compass Point Resort in an air-conditioned ocean view condo
  • 5 days two tank boat dives with full valet dive service
  • 3-Tank Safari Day including Kittiwake wreck (weather permitting)
  • One car rental per condominium (collection and return at airport)
  • 13% Hotel Tax included
  • Early Divers Breakfast included every morning
  • Five lunches, three buffet dinners, and one Pizza & Pinot night
  • Tanks, weights and weight belt

Not included:
Airfare to Grand Cayman, any outside meals and beverages not listed above, rental equipment or instruction if needed, Nitrox if desired ($100/wk), dive and resort gratuities, and items of a personal nature.
Additional afternoon dives are available and can be paid on site.

Getting there:
You can fly directly to Grand Cayman (GCM) on Cayman Airways, or on American, United, Delta and other carriers. Please keep it simple and plan to arrive on April 26 and depart on May 3 to help coordinate condos and rental cars.

A car rental is included for each condo. Once flight and room bookings are finalized, drivers will be assigned to pick up the vehicle and transport other participants arriving around the same time to the resort (40 minute drive).

Deposit:
Deposit of $500 is due upon booking. Balance due January 2025.

We can match solo travelers with a roommate, or treat yourself to the privacy of your own bedroom for an additional supplement.

Non-diver prices available.

About Rainbow Divers

Rainbow Divers is a 501(c)7 non-profit mutual benefit organization, and can only organize activities and trips for its members. Membership is cheap and comes with a bunch of new lifelong friends at no extra charge. So if you’d like to participate in this trip, please join us.

Payments are due within 10 days of sign up, and are generally non-refundable. If you sign up and your plans change there may or may not be someone interested in taking your spot. If you cancel without having made all payments it is your responsibility to find someone to pay your obligation in full. It is a very good idea to carry trip insurance to cover such an eventuality.

Trip payments may be made by PayPal or by personal check. PayPal will accept credit card payments, regardless of whether you have a PayPal account. The price is the same regardless of payment method.  Please consider using PayPal, as electronic payment greatly simplifies the work of our volunteers.  Please send PayPal payments to paypal@rainbowdivers.org

Divers are required to carry valid, in-force dive accident insurance, such as may be obtained from Divers' Alert Network (DAN).

Divers must agree to NCRD's Event Terms and Conditions to participate in this trip.
