A South Pacific dream vacation is easier than you think! Fiji is an easy overnight flight in a comfortable wide-body jet from SFO or LAX. This package, including meals and diving, is the perfect chance to experience the exotic South Pacific of your dreams and dive the brilliantly colorful "Soft Coral Capital of the World."
You'll stay in air-conditioned ocean view rooms at Volivoli Resort on the sunny coast of the main island of Viti Levu (www.Volivoli.com) and dive with Ra Divers. Deluxe Ocean View rooms have two queen beds, perfect for dive buddies. Premium Ocean View bures are standalone bungalows with one queen bed, great for couples. Ask about upgrading to a luxury ocean villa, complete with it’s own private pool!
We'll make sure everyone is comfortable and warmly welcomed here in the beautiful South Pacific. With a choice of uncrowded dive sites, Fiji is a great destination for both relatively new as well as experienced divers. You'll explore both easy diving at near-shore sites, as well as the Vatu-i-Ra passage of the Bligh Waters, where you can expect currents that make the soft coral "bloom." Our package includes 7 nights double occupancy, 3 meals daily, 5 days of 2 tank morning dives, 2 afternoon dives, unlimited house reef shore dives, a welcome cocktail party, a traditional Fijian dance performance, and more. For single we’ll try to pair you with a buddy, or you can ask about a single supplement. For the non diving spouses there’s more than just a pool and beach. Kayaks and other resort activities are also available.

Excluded:
Rental equipment, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages other than tea and coffee, any additional afternoon boat dives (FJD 130, approx US $60) and night dives, Nitrox (US $125), wi-fi (FJD 100, approx, US $47 for two devices), and items of a personal nature.
Tipping directly is not the custom in Fiji, but you can feel free to contribute to the Christmas fund distributed annually to the entire staff.
Flights:
Fiji lies just west of the International Date Line, so plan to begin travel from North America on the evening of Thursday, Oct 30 in order to arrive early on the morning of Saturday, Nov 1 (+one day due to the Date Line). Round-trip transfers from the Nadi airport (NAN) are included.
From North America, Fiji Airways flies non-stop from Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). Plan your return home for the evening of Nov 8.
About Rainbow Divers
Rainbow Divers is a 501(c)7 non-profit mutual benefit organization, and can only organize activities and trips for its members. Membership is cheap and comes with a bunch of new lifelong friends at no extra charge. So if you’d like to participate in this trip, please join us.
Payments are due within 10 days of sign up, and are generally non-refundable. If you sign up and your plans change there may or may not be someone interested in taking your spot. If you cancel without having made all payments it is your responsibility to find someone to pay your obligation in full. It is a very good idea to carry trip insurance to cover such an eventuality.
Trip payments may be made by PayPal or by personal check. PayPal will accept credit card payments, regardless of whether you have a PayPal account. The price is the same regardless of payment method. Divers are required to carry valid, in-force dive accident insurance, such as may be obtained from Divers' Alert Network (DAN).
