Some preliminary details
This charter of M/V Bilikiki offers a unique opportunity to visit this fascinating South Pacific destination with fellow LGBTQ+ travelers. The nine-night itinerary allows for exploration, including a visit to Marovo Lagoon.
The Solomon Islands, situated between Papua New Guinea and Fiji, offer some of the most pristine diving in the world. Expect to see hard coral gardens, schools of pelagics, brilliantly colored tropical fish, giant sea fans, eagle rays, and sharks.
This unspoiled destination is one of diving’s last frontiers - there is no industrialization and the islanders survive in a subsistence economy. We will be visited by villagers in their dugout canoes, but will not see any other dive boats, or very many people. These islands are lightly populated and reflect a simpler time.
We’ll sail in air conditioned comfort aboard the Bilikiki. This large ship offers plenty of room to spread out, and cabins with private bath and housekeeping service. Due to diving off of tenders, topography and currents, this trip is for intermediate and more experienced divers.
We have the charter entirely to ourselves, but if we don't sell out by mid 2027 we'll release unsold cabins and more friends we haven't yet met will join. So spread the word. This will be a fantastic trip to a bucket list destination.
The list price is $6345. Many factors can affect final pricing, including fuel surcharges, and whether we end up with a half charter instead of a full. As always, we might adjust your final payment or apply excess funds at trip time toward your port and park fees, nitrox or other onboard charges.
No need to send money to pre-register, but be ready to pay a $1000 deposit once we confirm you onto the trip. The wait-list is first come first served, with Rainbow Divers members getting first access.

Getting there and back is a long trek. You start a couple days early to arrive in Honiari to start the trip. There are connecting flights via Nadi Fiji or Brisbane Australia. Fiji Airways flies to Nadi from Vancouver, San Francisco, Dallas and LAX. Pre and Post trip nights in Fiji may be an option.
